The WASHINGTON, like the monument itself, is tall and strong. It is one of the top favorites among thousands of courses all over North America.
Each sign is 7 feet tall, 12 inches wide and 4 inches thick. They weigh approximately 460 lbs. and are placed 24 - 30 inches in the ground for solid support. The use of cement is optional and not one sign has ever been stolen, picked up or turned over.
